Air Team


We are pleased to have developed the AIR team with customers and commissioners and are now able to ensure that from the outset all customers’ journeys are shaped by the most senior practitioners in Cyrenians.

Therefore, Cyrenians AIR Team are senior qualified staff able to:

  • Undertake comprehensive needs assessment
  • Draw up preliminary personalisation plans
  • Track and monitor each customers recovery journey 
  • Support staff practice to meet customers recovery plans


As part of our commitment to supporting people to thrive in the least restrictive environment possible we have introduced the AIR Team of senior qualified staff who are able to work alongside statutory colleagues to:

  • Advise of any vacancies, move on plans and timescales within Cyrenians
  • Indentify suitable referrals
  • Expedite the process and give a preliminary view within 24 hours
  • Arrange a visit/assessment for in borough people within 5 working days
  • Arrange a visit/assessment for out of area within 7 working days
  • Provide written reports and assessments
  • Co-produce move in plan and timetable with manager, customer and statutory stakeholders
  • Co-produce initial My Guide plan
  • Jointly set goals, targets and milestones.
  • Post monthly progress reports. 


We have been working with customers to develop an organisation wide infrastructure that better supports customer choice and control. The AIR Team are a key part of this systemic approach and are responsible for:

  • Effective implementation of the Choice Charter
  • Co-producing initial My Guide plan and ensuring that this is delivered in tune with our customers as commissioners targets
  • Setting up accounts with i-buy Cyrenians on line shop for support
  • Track and Monitoring uptake and progress of customer commissioned services, My Guide outcomes and customer satisfaction and report findings on In-Sight
  • Jointly setting targets, milestones and goals
  • Individual budget accounting 


Cyrenians have been delivering recovery orientated services for a number of years and as such we have mature processes in place to support the AIR Team including:

  • Recovery focused Policies and Procedures
  • Recovery orientated job descriptions
  • My Guide Support planning
  • Customer defined goals
  • PSI/CBT training for front line staff 

The AIR Team will:

  • Provide an on duty advice line for managers and staff to access to support their recovery practice
  • Be based in services on a rota basis which will be published each quarter
  • Support recovery practice and enhance performance
  • Deliver training
  • Inform of social networking opportunities across local services
  • Signpost to i-buy, brokerage to other supported and mainstream services
  • Support common interest and collective spend links
